We bought the Philips BRE245/05 branded epilation device as a Mother's Day gift from the MediaMarkt store. While trying to see if it works, we realized that when the shaving head is attached, the second speed level button does not work and pushes the head outwards. There is also too much space between the head and the device and the head moves. We went to Media Markt and wanted to return the product, but they said they could not take it back until it was sent to service. The device went to the service center and after waiting for two weeks, the answer came back; "The device was checked, no problem was found, please read the user manual carefully." This is where we see PHILIPS "quality"! Volkan Elektronik, the authorized service in Ankara, advises the customer arrogantly without even reading the user manual. I did not take delivery of the product and sent it to the service again via MediaMarkt. I also stated that I had read the user manual and that there was no such thing and that I wanted to be called. The service employee who called today did not bother to introduce himself. First, he told me to read the manual again that there was nothing wrong with the device. I said, "You have the manual, you read it, where does it say "this product does not switch to the second stage when the shaving head is attached, it pushes the head outwards". He read it and said funny nonsense like yes, it is not written, but these models are like this, there is a pin, the pin pushes, the pin warns you. Even the technical service does not know anything about the device. This time he hung up the phone saying, "Call the seller, I don't know, I'm sending the product". A few months ago, I bought a PHILIPS 43 screen TV and there was light leakage on the edges of the screen. Again, it went to the same service, again the same under-stairs repair shop style men called me and spoke with the same tone and said that there was no problem again. In summary, if you are one of those who have been trusting the PHILIPS brand for years and buying products, like me, know this well. I don't know about other provinces, but you cannot get any service for your product in Ankara. Whatever is broken or wrong, Volkan electronics is extraordinarily educated, engineers who know how to speak very well, engineers, technicians who pass for technicians and pontificate without reading the user manual will always tell you NO PROBLEM PRODUCT IS OK. Know this when choosing this brand.
