Philips Shaver Head Defect - Disappointing Warranty Response

I was given a Philips shaver as a present. I can't believe it. After just 2 months of using it and only 8 months since I got it, the shaver head mechanism completely failed on me. It was a close call too, as it almost injured my eye while I was shaving. The authorized service center declined to honor the warranty and instead suggested purchasing a replacement for ₺400. I'm deeply disappointed by Philips' apparent disregard for their products and customers. Their lack of concern and uncooperative reply are completely unacceptable.
