I Request a Refund for Unauthorized Jobseeker Subscription
I have a Capitec savings account that I opened in Uitenhage, and on February 6, an amount of R299 was deducted from my account with the description listed as an “Amsterdam subscription.” I did not knowingly sign up for or authorize any Amsterdam subscription, and I did not give permission for this deduction.
I have not yet contacted Capitec regarding this issue. I request that Capitec investigate this Amsterdam subscription charge, refund the R299 that was deducted from my account, and ensure that no further unauthorized deductions of this kind are made from my savings account.
