Two hours ago, I made a reservation on Otelz with booking number 5279**. I quickly realized that due to an error on the search page, the price I saw for two nights was actually for just one night, resulting in a significant difference in cost. Without noticing, I confirmed the reservation. As soon as I realized the mistake, within 1.5 to 2 hours, I tried to cancel the booking and contacted customer service directly.
However, I was informed that the site would charge the full amount as a cancellation fee. This forces me to stay at a hotel that exceeds my budget. Since my credit card details are saved, I was told the payment would be automatically processed. When I spoke with customer service, they were adamant that the reservation could not be canceled, and even if it was, the full amount would be charged as a penalty.
I’ve been organizing all my company and personal trips through Otelz for years, but after this experience, I will never use their service again. No other system in the world has such rigid rules with zero regard for customer satisfaction.
