Oral-B Aquacare Oxyjet Took In Water and Rusted Internally

On January 16, 2022, I purchased the Oral-B Aquacare Oxyjet Rechargeable Oral Irrigator from Braun’s official website for $22 USD (Order No: ts160125579). When I first bought the product, everything was fine, but about six months ago the device suddenly began turning on by itself. Even with no water inside, it made a water-spraying sound and kept running until the battery was completely drained. After that, it never charged again and stopped functioning entirely.
I took the device to an electrician, and when we opened it together, we saw that the product had completely taken in water on the inside. The interior was dirty, damp, and rusty. It was likely taking in water from the very beginning, but I hadn’t noticed. Since the warranty period has expired, I tried contacting customer service and the seller, but I couldn’t reach anyone.
The current price of the product is $119 USD, and it is unacceptable for a device to fail this severely in such a short time. I am requesting a product replacement and for my issue to be resolved. I also have photos showing the rust inside the device, and if necessary, I am prepared to file a claim with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
