On December 19, 2025, I purchased a ticket through Mytrip for an Air Arabia flight from Sabiha Gökçen to Abu Dhabi scheduled for January 13, 2026 at 12:10 AM. During the initial payment attempt, I received an email stating that the transaction had failed due to a bank issue, that the payment had not gone through, and that I needed to try again. The blocked amount from that failed transaction was refunded to my account. I then used a different bank card to complete the payment and successfully purchased the ticket for the same flight.
However, one day later, I discovered that the first transaction — which I had been informed was unsuccessful — had been processed by Mytrip after all, and a second reservation had been created for the same flight. The PNR / reservation number for this duplicate booking is 1101 722 733. This second reservation was created entirely due to a system error on Mytrip’s end, and I am now left with two tickets for the same flight.
I have contacted Mytrip customer service multiple times regarding this issue. Each time, I was told that the matter had been forwarded to the relevant department and that I needed to wait. However, more than 15 days have passed, and no solution has been provided. No cancellation or refund has been processed. My flight date is approaching quickly, and I am still shown as having two tickets.
I urgently request that the second reservation created from the failed initial transaction be canceled immediately and that the full amount charged for this duplicate booking be refunded to me without delay. I also request that the time loss and inconvenience I have experienced be addressed as soon as possible.
