On July 13, 2023, I booked a flight from Rome to Amsterdam with Ita Airways for July 20, 2023, through the company's e-commerce website tr.mytrip.com, with order number MDKVD6 and seat 18A, at a cost of 7,245 TL. After receiving bank confirmation on the payment page, I canceled the transaction without logging in. Five minutes later, I repurchased the same flight with the same order number MDKVD6 and seat 18A for 7,179 TL through the same website. From my bank transactions, I realized that 7,245 TL were also debited for the first transaction.
I contacted the company, requesting the cancellation of the ticket with order number MDKVD6 and the refund of my money. They reported the situation to the airline and responded by email a week later. The airline rejected my request. When I tried to contact them again through the website, they did not assist me in any way, simply repeated the same information, and then hung up. How can transactions be carried out without an authorization code? This is an error on your website, and the responsibility for the refund lies with you. How is it possible for the same seat to be sold twice to the same person? I have received no answers and no support. On the contrary, I am experiencing more stress and inconvenience. I thought it was a trustworthy website, so I proceeded with the transaction, but I was mistaken. I demand the immediate cancellation and refund of the transaction that was sold without my consent and twice for the same seat to the same person.
