On March 21, 2025, I booked an Istanbul–Athens flight through Skyscanner, which redirected me to Mytrip. The confirmed price I accepted was ₺2,770. However, after finalizing the booking, I noticed the reservation confirmation showed a ₺5,563 charge, and my credit card was billed approximately ₺5,800.
I never approved this inflated amount. When I contacted Mytrip, they claimed the fare increased during the transaction. But I have screenshots and records proving the exact same flight was still listed on Skyscanner for ₺2,770 throughout the day.
This is misleading and unacceptable. I believe this practice constitutes digital fraud, and Skyscanner is complicit by allowing such vendors on their platform.
I demand a full refund of the unauthorized difference and immediate corrective action. Mytrip has shown no interest in resolving this, and I refuse to waste more hours chasing a problem I did not create. Respect your customers and stop allowing deceptive charges like this.
