Lexus LBX Doors and Rearview Mirror Vibrate at High Volume Levels
I purchased a Lexus LBX equipped with a Mark Levinson sound system. While the sound system itself is high quality, the vehicle’s structural design is not suitable for a system at this level. Once you start feeling the bass, around volume levels 50–55, the doors begin to rattle, completely ruining the music experience. In addition, the rearview mirror vibrates so much that, in my opinion, it affects driving safety. That mirror is not there just for decoration.
They talk about Lexus service, exceptional care, even things like helicopter transfers—which we don’t want anyway—but they fail at solving even such a basic issue. No one seems to care. It appears that the only way to be taken seriously is to contact the main headquarters directly.
