Dear Subaru Executives,
As a long-time Subaru customer with five vehicles purchased over the years, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my 2020 Subaru Forester (license plate: 34 GS 0057). My family currently owns three Subaru vehicles, but unfortunately, this specific car has not lived up to the brand's reputation.
At only four years old and 90,000 km, my Forester has developed several issues:
Persistent steering rack rattles, noticeable even over small bumps.
Metallic knocking noises during turns, reportedly from the front axles.
Premature wear requiring the replacement of the front suspension arm bushings.
These are issues one would typically expect in vehicles over ten years old, not a three-year-old model. Moreover, my vehicle has never been used off-road, making the extent of these problems even more concerning.
Based on the authorized service team's assessment, the required repairs include:
Steering rack replacement.
Front axle replacement.
Replacement of front suspension bushings.
The cost and frequency of these repairs have caused me significant frustration and diminished my trust in the Subaru brand. I am concerned that these issues might reoccur even after the proposed fixes, making me question the long-term reliability of this vehicle.
I kindly request your support in resolving these issues promptly and effectively. I hope Subaru will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and restore my confidence in the brand.
Sincerely,
