I purchased a 2023 Kia Picanto a year ago and have taken excellent care of the vehicle. Despite this, the fabric on the driver’s seat has started to show deformation. When I reached out to Kia service for support, the warranty department claimed the issue was due to "user-related wear" and refused to take responsibility.
I also contacted Kia’s main office, but they gave me the same response, deflecting responsibility. How can a brand-new car’s seat fabric deteriorate in just one year under normal use? It’s clear Kia is not standing behind its products, and their warranty seems to be more of a marketing ploy than a genuine service.
I expect Kia to acknowledge this defect and provide a solution. Ignoring a quality issue like this reflects poorly on the brand. Please address this matter and honor the warranty.
