Kia Refused to Fix Dashboard Crack on My 2017 Sportage Despite Known Issue
I bought my Kia Sportage new in 2017, and even though it has been well-maintained, accident-free, and free of paint issues, a crack has appeared on the dashboard above the glove compartment. I contacted the service center, and they told me they couldn't help since the vehicle was out of warranty. I reached out to the main office, but they brushed off my concern, stating that the crack resulted from external factors and was not eligible for coverage. It's frustrating to witness a crack like this being blamed on external factors in a 7-year-old car, particularly when it appears to be a frequent problem with Kia vehicles. I anticipated that the company would address these defects, but their lack of action has left me with no option but to pursue legal avenues for resolution.
