I Face Battery and Electrical Failure on Kia Picanto 2022 Despite Service Visits
I own a 2022 Kia Picanto and have taken my car to numerous authorized service centers due to ongoing battery and electrical issues. The battery has been replaced and recharged multiple times, yet the problem persists. Most recently, I experienced a complete power failure where I couldn't even unlock the car with the remote. I had to open the door manually with the key, and when I got inside, there was absolutely no electrical power— even the digital dashboard wouldn’t light up.
Today, I took my car back to the service center, expecting a solution, but instead, I was blamed for the issue. The service staff showed no interest or empathy, and they claimed that next time I should call the authorized roadside assistance, but warned me that if the problem is deemed my fault, I will have to pay for the service.
As a woman who sometimes has to travel alone at night, this situation makes me feel unsafe and abandoned. How am I supposed to trust my car when it could leave me stranded at any moment, and no one takes responsibility? This recurring problem has caused me serious stress and has made me lose trust in both the brand and the after-sales service.
I urgently request Kia to permanently resolve this battery and electrical system failure under warranty and ensure my vehicle is safe and reliable. I also expect an apology for the unfair blame and lack of proper customer care. Please take immediate action to restore my trust in your brand and ensure my safety on the road.
