I purchased a Huawei Watch GT4 as a gift for my spouse, and it holds great sentimental value for us. However, from the very beginning, the watch has had multiple issues—the step counter tracks steps incorrectly, the time display is inaccurate, and the watch randomly shuts off. We initially assumed these were temporary glitches, but despite multiple calls with customer service and resetting and re-pairing the device with the phone, the issues persisted.
Eventually, we decided to send the watch to the service center. Shockingly, the device was returned almost immediately, with a report stating that no issues were detected. I honestly applaud the speed of their "testing", but this was deeply frustrating. Thinking that perhaps the issue was on our end, I tried contacting customer service again to properly re-pair the device. However, I waited over 30 minutes on hold before finally giving up.
I also explicitly requested a replacement device before sending the watch to service, and a customer service representative assured me they would handle it. That never happened. It has been three days, and I have yet to hear back from anyone. No calls, no follow-ups, no solution.
At this point, I had no choice but to pair the watch manually because Huawei’s customer support is simply unreachable. A premium product should come with proper after-sales support, yet Huawei has failed completely in this regard. I demand a replacement unit or a real solution, not just automated responses. Huawei, do better!
