I Report Hotels.com For Misleading Room Size Information and Refund Request

On September 13–14, 2023, I booked a sea-view room at Marmaris Prime Beach Hotel through Hotels.com with reservation number 72066179684147. I checked in on September 13 around 15:00, but the room provided to me was only about 15 m² including the bathroom and balcony, while the Hotels.com listing clearly stated the room size as 25 m². When I realized this discrepancy, I tried to contact Hotels.com by both phone and email but could not reach any customer support. Around 16:30 I informed the hotel reception that I could not stay under these conditions, provided a written statement of my reason for leaving, and checked out. On September 18, when I contacted the hotel again, they confirmed that they had not requested any payment from Hotels.com regarding my stay. I demand a full refund of ₺4,050 to my credit card and request to be granted one free night of accommodation as compensation for the misleading room information. I expect Hotels.com to address this issue and resolve my grievance caused by inaccurate listing details.
