Hotels.com Cancellation Mishap and Unreachable Customer Service

I recently experienced a series of frustrating issues with Hotels.com that left me feeling disappointed and confused. It all began when I made a one-day, one-room reservation for a hotel in central Antalya. While attempting to switch to a different hotel, I accidentally cancelled my reservation. This is where my troubles truly began.
The most significant problem I encountered was the complete lack of accessible customer service from Hotels.com. To my dismay, I discovered that there is no dedicated Turkish customer service, which made resolving my issue incredibly challenging.
When I finally managed to connect with their virtual customer service, I found myself in a conversation that felt almost comical in its ineffectiveness. Despite explaining my situation for nearly an hour, the foreign customer service representative seemed unable to understand my problem. This was largely due to the use of an automated translation system, which appeared to struggle with accurately conveying my concerns.
