Gotogate Cancels Flight Without Offering Alternative and Forces Rebooking
About a month ago, I purchased a round-trip flight ticket through Gotogate for travel to Türkiye, departing on March 25 and returning on April 14. I paid a total of £926. However, about five days before the flight, Gotogate canceled my ticket without offering any alternative flight options—only a cancellation option was provided.
Since no alternative flights were offered, I was forced to purchase a new ticket for £1,100 in order to travel to Türkiye. This time, I could not even find tickets for my preferred dates. As a result, I had to pay a higher price and was unable to travel on my planned dates, which caused me significant inconvenience.
My reservation number is 564-********41. I request a full refund of the £926 I paid and that my situation be taken into consideration.
Gotogate cancelled my ticket, did not offer a new flight option, and did not contact me. I paid £926, then paid an additional £1,100 for a new ticket, but I have not received a refund. This situation has seriously disadvantaged me.
