Fruugo Charged Me Without Consent and Left My Cancellation Request Unresolved

I clicked on a product on Fruugo just to check it out and entered my card details, thinking I would be asked for final confirmation before being charged. To my shock, they charged me immediately without asking for any payment approval. I didn’t even get a chance to review or confirm the order!

I contacted Fruugo right away to cancel the purchase. At first, it seemed like it might go through—on the product page, it even showed as “cancelled.” But I’ve received no confirmation email, no follow-up, and most importantly, no refund. It's extremely frustrating not knowing whether I’ll get my money back or if I’ve just lost it.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any e-commerce platform. Taking money without consent, providing no clear cancellation process, and leaving customers in limbo is not how a trustworthy company should operate. I demand a full refund of the amount withdrawn without my permission and urge Fruugo to fix their shady and confusing checkout process. If anyone else has faced this, please share your experience. We deserve transparency and accountability.
