I bought all the kitchen appliances from the Franke brand six years ago. The seals on my refrigerator door broke, so I had them replaced. They made me pay for the service and spare part on a product that had a two-year warranty, saying it was for service expenses. I said that this was the first time I've ever come across a situation like this with the Franke brand, and they told me that it's always like this.
My fridge keeps getting ice in the freezer, so I have to defrost it all the time. In just two months, a 15-centimeter layer of ice builds up, and I have to defrost it by unplugging it for over 24 hours. But, unfortunately, after three days, it starts forming again. Now it keeps breaking all the time. I called the service again, but they don't back up their products. Ever since that day, I've been asking for a new product to replace the one that doesn't work.
My neighbors in the building had the same issues too. A couple of months back, my neighbor had a similar situation with his refrigerator. The memory card inside it got fried, and he ended up having to shell out a hefty amount to get it fixed. Another neighbor had the same problem with their electric stove. His memory card stopped working two times, and he had to pay a lot of money. Franke doesn't really back up their products, and I feel bad for telling my parents to buy four electronic devices for their house. I like other brands better.
