Disappointing Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde Return Experience
I purchased the Dyson purifier hot+cool formaldehyde product from Vadi Istanbul Mall on July 7, 2023. When I tried it at home, I discovered that its cooling feature fell far short of my expectations. When I contacted customer service about a return, they told me that as long as the box was undamaged and intact, I could return it to the store. So, on July 12, 2023, I went to the store to return the item, but they refused and gave me the runaround. They asked me to contact customer service again, and this time they said I couldn't return the product because the box had been opened. These inconsistencies clearly demonstrate their lack of professionalism. Dyson, a reputable company, claims to accept returns within 14 days, but they do not follow through. This experience has taught me not to trust Dyson and to advise others not to buy their products. In addition, I intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Court. It's inconvenient that satisfaction or dissatisfaction cannot be determined without opening the package.
