Dyson Refused Warranty Support for My Hot+Cool Air Purifier

On 11.05.2023, I purchased a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde air purifier. Upon delivery, I noticed the box was damaged and immediately requested a return. The Dyson customer representative instructed me to open the box and inspect the product, assuring me it could still be returned. However, once I opened it and called for a refund, they refused, citing that the box had been opened. Since then, I have used the product despite its initial damage. Over time, the catalytic filter, which is not meant to be replaced, became damaged and clogged with lint. This issue causes the device to pull lint into the motor, resulting in a loud buzzing sound. When I reported this to Dyson customer service and requested a warranty replacement, I was shocked to learn that Dyson does not provide warranty or service for air purifiers sold in Turkey. Their solution was to suggest purchasing a new device instead of addressing the fault. I have heard similar complaints from others but never expected such poor service from a brand with premium-priced products. Dyson refuses to replace or repair a basic component, even one that should not typically need replacement. I urge others to reconsider before buying from Dyson, and I request that Dyson send me a replacement catalytic filter.

The Dyson brand does not provide a warranty for products in Turkey. They have removed the warranty for the products they sell in Turkey. They shared this information themselves.
