I Watched Dark Water on Disney+ and the Turkish Subtitles Were Full of Errors
17

I recently watched the film Dark Water on Disney+, and I’m genuinely shocked by how terrible the Turkish subtitles were. I’m not just talking about a few typos—we all overlook one or two. But this was something else entirely. The subtitles were so poorly written, it felt like the translator dictated them to someone who doesn’t even speak Turkish.

What makes this worse is that even unofficial streaming sites have better subtitle quality. I expect a professional level of accuracy and care from a paid platform like Disney+, but this was sloppy and distracting throughout the entire movie.

There isn’t even a proper place to report these issues. I’m writing here because I don’t know where else to go. Disney+, please review your subtitle quality control process and give viewers a way to report translation issues directly. We’re paying for a premium experience, not amateur work.
