Dyson V10 Motor Keeps Stopping Despite Repeated Service Repairs
I purchased my Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner from Dyson’s official online store in June 2024. From the first day I started using it, the device has had a recurring problem: while vacuuming, the motor suddenly stops. This issue happens intermittently, has become chronic over time, and completely disrupts the comfort and continuity of use. For approximately two years, my Dyson V10 has been constantly going back and forth to the authorized service. Each time, it was returned to me with the statement that “there is nothing wrong” and no permanent solution was provided. In order to clearly show the problem, I recorded a video; however, I was told that they would not accept video evidence. When a live remote inspection was attempted, the problem did not occur at that exact moment, and although I repeatedly explained that the malfunction appears intermittently, again no lasting remedy was offered. I find Dyson’s overall approach throughout this process to be seriously indifferent and unsatisfactory. Since I have been experiencing the same problem continuously from the very first day, I believe that my Dyson V10 vacuum has a manufacturing-related, chronic defect and should be considered as a defective product. Despite repeatedly being sent to the authorized service, the fault has not been rectified and the problem continues chronically. I use the product in Balıkesir Edremit, and all service processes have been carried out from here. For these reasons, I request that my Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner be evaluated within the scope of a defective product and that it be completely replaced one-to-one with a new device.
