Disney Junior Turkey Broadcasting in Arabic Instead of Turkish
I recently discovered that the Disney Junior Turkey channel has started broadcasting in Arabic instead of Turkish, which makes absolutely no sense for children living in Turkey. A kids’ channel in this country should naturally provide content in Turkish, not in a foreign language.
I contacted Tivibu customer service, and they told me that “the channel always broadcasts in Arabic, nothing can be done.” This is unacceptable. I’m paying a significant amount of money for a service that should provide proper Turkish-language children’s programming.
Even when I select Turkish in the language settings, nothing changes. I even tried a full reset and reinstall, but it still doesn’t work. Sometimes one cartoon is in Turkish, but the next suddenly switches to Arabic. It’s inconsistent and extremely frustrating.
I believe this situation feels like a forced change that ignores the needs of families in Turkey. I demand that Disney Junior broadcasts be consistently provided in Turkish as promised. Otherwise, there is no justification for paying subscription fees for a children’s channel that fails to deliver local language content.
