Cursor AI Billing Issue and Chargeback Request

On January 14, 2026, a $200 USD subscription renewal charge was processed on my Yapı Kredi credit card by a merchant listed as “Cursor – AI Powered IDE” through manual card entry. I absolutely do not accept a subscription renewal carried out via manual card entry in this manner. The transaction took place at approximately 1:50 AM.
The service related to this renewed subscription period has not been used at all, and I contacted my bank immediately after the charge was made. I request that this transaction be reviewed under a “merchant dispute / subscription dispute” claim and that a formal chargeback be initiated so the amount can be refunded to me.
When I spoke with customer service, I was informed that my card would need to be blocked and replaced while the investigation is conducted. My card is physically in my possession, it has not been lost or stolen, and I do not want it canceled. I am only requesting that this subscription renewal, which was processed without my knowledge or approval, be canceled and the charge refunded.
I ask that this matter be reviewed promptly, that my dispute be accepted, and that I be informed in writing regarding the outcome.
