On January 8, 2026, I noticed that $52 was charged to my VakıfBank credit card without my authorization as a 2-month subscription fee on the website pdfe.com. I had only downloaded a single prepaid document from that site once; I did not approve any subscription or recurring payment. Despite this, a subscription was started without my knowledge and the charge was taken from my card.
The transaction description on my statement reads “pdfe.com67048857sant/cugat de.” As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted my bank to dispute it; nevertheless, pdfe.com has not contacted me or provided any information regarding this charge.
I request that this subscription I did not agree to be canceled immediately and that the full $52 charged to my card be refunded to me as soon as possible. I also want a written explanation of how a subscription was started without my explicit consent and on what basis this charge was made.
