PDF Guru Charged My Debit Card $52 Without Authorization
On January 6, 2026, at 12:06 p.m., I noticed that a charge of approximately $52 USD was made without my permission or approval on my Yapı Kredi debit card by an application called PDF Guru. I had used the app on my Android device only once, with a one-time payment, and I never requested or agreed to any subscription, membership, or automatic renewal. Despite this, this amount was charged to my account.
I did not receive any notification or approval request from either the bank or the app regarding this transaction. I have the payment receipt and purchase history related to this transaction in my account. So far, I have not filed a spending dispute or similar request through Yapı Kredi customer service or a branch.
I request that this unauthorized transaction be canceled and that the $52 USD charged to my card be refunded to me in full. If necessary, I can provide all supporting documents, including the payment receipt and relevant screenshots.
