On April 14, 2024, I purchased a pair of Crocs Echo Clog sandals from Sneaks Up, paying approximately ₺3000. I was informed the product came with a one-year warranty. I didn’t use the sandals right away, as I bought them specifically for a summer vacation. However, when I finally used them in July, the back strap detached just after a few steps. When I tried to reattach it, I realized it had actually torn (as shown in the attached photos). I chose this model for the convenience of wearing it with the back strap, but the product was unusable from the start.
Upon returning to Istanbul, I took the sandals back to the store, where I was told they’d be sent for inspection, a process that would take around 20 business days. When the report finally came back, it stated there was no issue related to manufacturing or materials, so they refused to offer an exchange or refund. This response is unacceptable. There was no clear explanation of how they inspected the product—just generic phrases denying my claim.
As a customer, I feel disregarded. I purchased this product, trusting it would be of high quality, but it failed me on the first use. Sneaks Up should take responsibility instead of assuming every issue is due to customer error.
