I signed up for Coursera’s 1-week free trial and decided not to continue, as I did not want to pay the $60 fee. During cancellation, they offered me a $30 discounted plan, which I initially accepted. However, due to my financial situation this month, I changed my mind and canceled the subscription altogether.
When I check my profile, it clearly shows that my subscription has been canceled. Despite this, Coursera has been trying to charge my card $30 for the past 3 days. I never authorized my card to be saved in their system, and under my account settings, no saved payment method is visible. I had to remove and block my card entirely from all accounts due to their repeated attempts.
I emailed their support team, and they instructed me to delete the payment method from settings—but this option simply does not exist in either the web or mobile interface. If this continues any further, I will submit a formal complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and take legal action.
This situation has become incredibly frustrating, consuming my time and peace of mind over the past 2–3 days with repeated charge attempts every few hours. I have attached screenshots of my account settings, charge attempts, and support emails.
I demand immediate deletion of my card details from their systems and an assurance that no further charge attempts will be made.
