My Omoda 5 Shakes While Braking at 29K KM—Service Blames Me, Denies Warranty

I brought my Chery Omoda 5 to the service center at just 29,000 km because the car began to vibrate noticeably during braking. The service team diagnosed the issue as a warped brake disc—something they even admitted was likely caused by a material defect. But despite this, they refused to cover the repair under warranty, calling it “user error.”

This is incredibly disappointing. I purchased this vehicle with confidence in the brand’s 5-year / 150,000 km warranty, trusting that quality issues would be handled properly. Instead, I’m being blamed for a manufacturing flaw and left to deal with the cost myself.

Chery, this is unacceptable. You know this is a common issue with the brake components, and you’re still refusing to take responsibility. I’m asking you to honor your warranty and replace the defective part without delay. I chose this car because I believed in your promise—don’t make me regret it.
