Honda HR-V Screen Not Turning On After Settings Change

The multimedia/display system in my 2018 Honda HR-V has been completely off for the past three days and will not turn on. I recently purchased the vehicle from someone close to me. The car has been regularly serviced, and no prior work has ever been done on the screen.
While navigating the vehicle settings menu, I saw an option under display settings labeled “change.” I assumed this was simply for adjusting the theme or appearance, so I selected it. I definitely did not perform a factory reset or anything similar. After using this option, the screen turned off and has not turned back on since.
I contacted Diyarbakır Kardelen Honda dealership by phone regarding the issue. They advised me to disconnect the battery terminals, wait for a while, and reconnect them. I followed these instructions exactly, but the screen still does not turn on and the issue persists. When I asked about the estimated repair cost if the issue could not be resolved, I was told that the system would need to be reprogrammed and that it could cost around $112.
It does not seem reasonable to me that selecting an option within the settings menu—without any warning or additional confirmation—would cause the screen to completely shut down and become unusable, and then require such a high repair cost. I do not consider this to be an approach that reflects well on the Honda brand.
Considering that my vehicle is a 2018 model, has been regularly serviced, and has never had any prior intervention on the screen, I request that this issue be evaluated under warranty or manufacturer responsibility and that the repair be carried out free of charge.
