I own a Chery Omoda 5 Pro with only 4,000 km mileage, and I have been facing a troubling issue with the brake pedal. Whenever I lift my foot off the brake, it makes a metal-to-metal striking noise.
When I first visited the service center, the brake pedal was lubricated, but nothing changed. The following week, I went back again and even provided a video of the issue. After inspection, the technical team confirmed that the sound comes from the brake servo system. However, Chery Türkiye claims that this is the “normal working sound” of the brake servo and refuses to replace the part, stating that it is not a usage problem and may occasionally occur.
I cannot accept that such a disturbing noise is considered “normal” in a brand-new vehicle. This is not what I expected from a car with only 4,000 km, and I strongly disagree with the claim that no action is necessary.
I demand that the brake pedal noise issue be properly resolved and that the defective brake servo part be replaced under warranty. As a customer, I expect Chery to take responsibility and provide me with a vehicle free from such faults.
