I Face Poor Conditions and Refund Refusal at Queen Street Boutique Suites Booking




From August 10 to August 13, 2024, I stayed at Queen Street Boutique Suites, located at 6A Queen Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE, United Kingdom. From the moment I entered the room, I noticed multiple serious issues: the air conditioning did not work, the toilet was broken, and the pillows and duvets were old and visibly dirty. The overall hygiene and comfort level were far below acceptable standards.
At first, I was unable to reach the property owner, so I contacted Booking.com customer service. I spent nearly an hour explaining the problems, but their support was completely inadequate. Eventually, a repairman was sent to the room, but by that point, I had already lost valuable time and experienced major inconvenience. The conditions of the room and the hotel overall were unacceptable, especially considering I paid far more than the stay was worth. My reservation confirmation code was 5424****64.
Given the poor conditions, the unresolved problems, and the lack of proper support, I demand a full refund from Booking.com. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly and compensation to be issued for the inconvenience caused.
