I Can’t Get Booking.com to Honor Price Drop on My Edinburgh Hotel Reservation

I booked a hotel in Edinburgh through Booking.com for July 21–24, 2025, under reservation number 5608****28. I made the reservation back in June for £678, including breakfast. However, on July 8, I noticed that the exact same room — again with breakfast included — dropped to £628. Naturally, I submitted a price match request, not once, but twice since that date.
To this day, Booking.com has not responded to either of my requests. With my trip just two days away, I’m beyond frustrated. I even went as far as calling their global Turkish support line — which cost me extra — only to wait 10 minutes without connecting to anyone. When I finally got through, the call was abruptly cut off mid-conversation. I didn’t bother calling again because I didn’t want any new charges added to my bill, but this whole experience has been incredibly disappointing.
Booking.com promotes their "Price Match Guarantee" as a key feature, yet they’re completely ignoring it when it matters. I demand that they honor the lower rate and refund me the ₺1,800+ difference. Their lack of response and unhelpful customer support is completely unacceptable.
