Booking.com & Record GO Have Not Refunded My €900 Car Rental Deposit

On November 22, 2024, I rented a car from Record GO in Madrid, Spain through Booking.com (Reservation Number: 713664288). At the time of rental, I was charged a €900 deposit, which was supposed to be refunded upon returning the vehicle.

Today is February 5, 2025, and I still have not received my deposit back. I have contacted both Record GO and Booking.com, yet neither has taken responsibility or provided a resolution. Booking.com, despite being the platform through which I booked, has done nothing to assist in getting my money back.

I demand:

An immediate refund of my €900 deposit
A proper response from Booking.com regarding their lack of customer support
Better accountability from Booking.com for issues with rental companies listed on their platform
This delay is completely unacceptable. If my refund is not processed immediately, I will escalate this matter further.
