I rented a car through Booking.com, and the rental company they directed me to took a 600-euro cash deposit when I picked up the vehicle. Upon returning the car, they assured me that the deposit would be refunded via bank transfer. However, I never received the refund.
When I followed up, they shockingly claimed, "You didn’t rent the car from us." This is unacceptable, as the entire transaction was arranged through Booking.com. I trusted their platform to connect me with reliable services, but this experience has left me feeling scammed and frustrated.
Booking.com, I hold you responsible for addressing this issue and ensuring my deposit is refunded promptly. Please take action to resolve this matter and restore trust in your service.
