I booked a hotel through Booking.com for December 14–16, 2024, in Nicosia, Cyprus. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel was located in South Nicosia, not the northern part where I intended to stay. There was no clear indication of this important distinction on Booking.com's website, which caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. After paying for the booking and arriving at the airport, a taxi driver informed me of the location issue. I immediately contacted the hotel management, but they were unresponsive at first and later outright refused to resolve the matter. When I reached out to Booking.com customer service, I received no reply. I have proof of my intended North Cyprus stay. I demand a prompt response and resolution from Booking.com, including a refund.
