I Booked a Room on Booking.com But the Hotel Said It Didn’t Exist
I made a hotel reservation in the United States through Booking.com, but when I arrived at the property, the staff informed me that there was no room available. I was shocked—how can Booking.com list and sell a room that doesn’t even exist?
It was around 3 a.m., and we were left stranded with nowhere to go. Despite reaching out for help, we were constantly redirected between customer service departments, and no one has issued a refund. It’s unacceptable that they can sell non-existent accommodations and not take immediate responsibility when things go wrong.
We trusted Booking.com to manage this booking professionally, but this experience has been a complete letdown. I expect a full refund without any further delays, and I demand that this issue be addressed and resolved immediately. If necessary, I will file a complaint with consumer protection authorities and pursue legal action. No one should have to deal with this kind of treatment after paying in good faith.
