Booking.com Dirty Room Charge and No Refund

I made a reservation at the Days Inn on Wattsburg Road in Erie, Pennsylvania, with an original check-in date of April 3. When I arrived, I found the place to be horribly dirty and completely unacceptable to stay in. Because of these filthy conditions, I did not want to stay and expected that my room would be cancelled and refunded. Despite this, I was still made to pay for the room, including a second reservation that I paid in cash, for a total of about $67. When I tried to resolve the issue directly with the hotel, the staff at the front desk were dismissive and even hung up on me when I raised my concerns about the dirty conditions and requested a refund. I also have images showing the condition of the room. I later tried to contact Days Inn / Wyndham customer service, but because the first reservation was through Booking.com and the second was paid in cash, I was not able to get any proper help or resolution. I am left charged for a room I could not reasonably stay in because of its condition. I am requesting a full refund of the $67 I paid for the cancelled and unusable room, given the filthy conditions and the way I was treated by the hotel staff.
