Booking.com Charged Twice For Hotel Booking At Ocean View Residence - Need Refund
I made a hotel reservation through Booking.com at Ocean View Residence in Barcelona for the dates 15–18 July 2026. According to my booking confirmation, the total amount for the reservation was $50. However, I was charged twice, and a total of $100 was taken from my Visa credit card. I noticed this double charge a few days after making the reservation. There has been no cancellation or change on my side that would justify an extra payment, and I did not receive any explanation for the duplicate transaction. I kindly request a full refund of the extra $50 that was charged in error and a clear written confirmation that the duplicate payment has been reversed and the issue is fully resolved.
I would like to confirm that my issue regarding the duplicate charge for my Booking.com reservation has now been resolved. After reviewing the transaction, the extra payment of $50 has been successfully refunded to my original payment method. I have also received confirmation from my bank that only the correct amount of $50 has been retained for the booking. I appreciate the support provided in resolving this matter and consider the issue fully closed.
