Booking.com Charged Me Twice €207.09 For My Stay At Venera Apartments Budva
From August 17–20, 2025, I stayed at Venera Apartments in Budva, Montenegro, with a reservation made through Booking.com. The total cost of my stay was €207.09, but to my surprise, this amount was charged twice to my credit card. Both payments were successfully deducted from my account, even though only one booking was made.
I immediately reached out to both Booking.com and the hotel to report the issue, but I have not received any response or solution so far. I have clear proof of the duplicate charge, including screenshots from my bank account and documents showing the exact dates of my stay. This is undeniable evidence that I was charged twice for the same service.
I have since learned that other customers have also experienced similar issues, which makes this situation even more concerning. While this is the first time it has happened to me, it has caused serious inconvenience and made me lose trust in the platform’s reliability.
I demand a prompt refund of the extra €207.09 that was wrongly taken from my account. Customers should never have to pay twice for the same stay, and such errors must be corrected immediately. I expect Booking.com to take responsibility and resolve this without further delay.
I called Booking.com customer service, they were attentive and a refund was issued. It takes a long time, but they do get back to you.
