I booked a one-night hotel stay in Bulgaria through Booking.com, and to my surprise, I was charged twice for the same reservation. This isn’t a small error—it’s a clear case of duplicate payment, and it’s unacceptable. What’s worse is that Booking.com offers no real customer service support in Turkey. I’ve emailed them multiple times, but all I get is the same automated reply: "Call our number in the Netherlands."
Not everyone has international calling enabled or wants to spend even more money trying to fix a mistake that wasn’t theirs. Booking acts like everyone should be ready to call abroad just to get help.
No one has taken any meaningful action to resolve this. I’ve been completely ignored. I want my second charge refunded immediately—this isn’t just about the money (₺), it’s about basic accountability. If you're using Booking.com, double-check your bank statement—being charged twice is not a rare glitch. It happened to me, and it can happen to you too.
