I Face Double Charge and Refund Refusal on Booking.com Bulgaria Hotel Reservation
I recently booked a hotel in Bulgaria through Booking.com, but during the payment process, the system charged me twice. Instead of the correct €350, a total of €700 was withdrawn from my account. My stay has not even taken place yet, but I am already dealing with this serious billing issue.
For the past four days, I have been trying to contact Booking.com customer service. Despite multiple attempts, I have not received any response or support. My bank confirmed that I must resolve the issue directly with Booking.com, yet the platform has not provided any clear information about cancellation terms or refund procedures. This lack of communication has left me frustrated and without answers.
I demand that the extra €350 taken from my account be refunded immediately. Booking.com must take responsibility for duplicate charges and ensure customers are not left helpless in situations like this. I expect a prompt resolution and clear confirmation that my refund will be processed without further delay.
