I Got Double Charged for My Alberobello Booking on Booking.com and Can’t Reach Support
I booked a one-night stay in Alberobello through Booking.com, and on July 10, I was charged twice for the same reservation. Since that day, I’ve been sending messages and calling customer service with no success. Despite repeated attempts, I have not been able to reach a single real person who can help resolve my issue.
The phone number they provided doesn't work, and when I finally received an email asking me to upload proof of the double charge, the system failed with a “session timed out” error. I've tried contacting them again, but no response. I'm extremely frustrated and feel completely ignored.
This kind of service is unacceptable for a global platform like Booking.com. When something goes wrong, there should be a clear way to resolve it. Instead, I’m stuck with no refund and no answers.
I demand an immediate refund for the duplicate charge and a proper explanation for why no support has been available. I also strongly warn others: do not trust Booking.com—if anything goes wrong, you're on your own.
