Booking.com Charged Me Fully After Europcar Refused Car Due to €1,000 Deposit

On September 30, 2025, I made a car rental booking through Booking.com with Europcar at Arlanda Airport, Sweden, under reservation number 630084814. However, at the time of pickup, I was unexpectedly informed that a €1,000 deposit was required. Since I was unable to pay such a high deposit, I had to cancel the rental on the spot. After the Europcar staff processed the cancellation, I received an official cancellation confirmation email from Europcar.
Despite this, on October 3, ₺8,157 was charged to my account in full via İş Bankası through Booking.com, and I received a message confirming that the entire rental fee had been deducted. As a result, we were left without a car during our trip, faced serious transportation issues, and our vacation was negatively affected. Moreover, I tried contacting Booking.com customer service, but I never received any response.
Although the cancellation was approved by Europcar, Booking.com has refused to issue a refund, leaving me financially and practically affected. I do not accept being charged the full amount for a canceled reservation. I request an immediate refund of the ₺8,157 payment, which was wrongly deducted, and I can provide the official Europcar cancellation email as proof. I kindly ask that this issue be resolved as soon as possible.
