Booking.com Canceled My Car Rental but Kept the Money and Won’t Issue an Invoice
I tried to rent a car through Booking.com, and the payment was taken from my account immediately. But then, without warning, my reservation was canceled—and now they refuse to return my money. When I asked for an invoice to at least document the transaction, they told me they couldn’t provide one because there was “no contract with the rental company.”
Instead, they just sent me a generic reservation confirmation, which is useless in proving that Booking.com actually charged me. My money is sitting in Booking.com’s account, not the rental company’s, yet they offer no transparency or proper documentation.
I am now preparing to file an official complaint and take legal action. Booking.com, I demand a full refund and a legitimate invoice proving this transaction. You cannot take ₺ from customers and hide behind vague excuses. Either issue the refund or give me the official documentation I need to pursue this legally.
