Bedford Hotel in Brussels Delayed Refund of €150 Deposit via Booking.com



I stayed at the Bedford Hotel in Brussels, booking through Booking.com. I checked in on December 25 and checked out on December 26, 2024. At check-in, the hotel charged a €150 deposit to my credit card, which was supposed to be refunded upon checkout. However, despite the hotel claiming they processed the refund on December 27, I have yet to receive my money.
The refund should have been completed by now, but nothing has been credited to my account. I feel like I’m being misled, and this delay is entirely unacceptable. Booking.com needs to step in and resolve this issue immediately, as it is affecting my trust in the platform. I expect my deposit to be refunded without further delay.
There is still no response or development, it's been 22 days.
There is still no progress, Booking.com doesn't care, the hotel doesn't care. What kind of customer service understanding is this?!
