Avis Has Not Refunded My €300 Deposit After One Month
On May 24, 2025, I rented a vehicle from the Avis office at Sarajevo Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina under reservation number 15413869TR2. A €300 security deposit was charged to my credit card when I rented the vehicle, and I returned it to Tirana Airport without any problems on May 31, 2026.
When I returned the vehicle, I was told that the deposit would be credited back to my card within seven to ten days. However, approximately one month has passed, and the €300 has still not been refunded. Despite repeatedly calling and sending emails, we only receive automated responses. No representative has contacted us, and we cannot reach anyone who can address the issue.
Being treated this way by such a well-established company has damaged our trust and made us seriously reconsider renting from Avis again or recommending the company to others. I am requesting that this problem be resolved immediately and that the €300 deposit be refunded without further delay.
