I Face a Delayed Deposit Refund from Europcar Sarajevo — €350 Still Not Returned After 40 Days

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, I rented a Seat Arona (economy package) from Europcar’s Sarajevo Airport branch and returned the vehicle without any issues or damages. During the rental, a deposit of €350 was charged to my account. However, even after 40 business days, the deposit has still not been refunded.

I contacted Europcar both by phone and email, but I have not received any satisfactory explanation or response. Although some of my rental documents were misplaced, I can provide a copy of my driver’s license and full details of the vehicle’s model and color for verification.

I request that my €350 deposit be refunded immediately, along with a clear explanation for the delay and an apology for the inconvenience caused. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I reserve the right to seek compensation for the financial and emotional distress caused by this negligence.
