Avis Won't Refund My Deposit
On 05.04.2025, I rented a Seat Ibiza FR car for 4 days from Avis Germany Düsseldorf airport. They charged €258 car rental fee and €200 deposit fee. I returned the car without any problems on 09.04.2025. The Avis employee told me that the €200 deposit I paid would be refunded within 3 days at the latest. However, my money has not been refunded yet. When I contacted customer service, they told me that we will pay when your fee has not entered the system yet and your money is pending. When I contacted the bank, they said that the money was transferred to Avis and that I had paid the money on the statement date and that if they really paid it, Avis should send us the invoice or receipt and we will make the payment from the system. When I contacted Avis again, they told me that they could not send me a receipt and that the money was returned and that there was a problem with the bank. In this case, I will go to the bank and object to the expense. I do not know who is at fault but someone is not sending the money back to me. My money, which was supposed to be returned within 3 days at the latest, has not been returned to me even though 32 days have passed, I want my problem to be resolved as soon as possible.
